DAO
Decentralized Autonomous Organization is a smart contract defined program that governs a group of accounts or address. Typically, DAOs are used to manage human organizations and/or their assets according to a ruleset.
DAOs leverage decentralization to eliminate the risks of a corrupt centralized facilitator. This enables “headless” organizations that rely exclusively on the democratic control of their members.
